Head of Service Desk (m/f/d) Stuttgart

Tasks

  • Develop and define a service management strategy for the DEKRA organization EMEA North for the following countries: Germany, Belgium, Denmark, England, Finland, Netherlands, Poland & Hungary
  • Budget preparation and monitoring with the aim of continuous cost optimization
  • Support of global DEKRA business projects as a stakeholder
  • Define and implement more efficient processes, standards and guidelines for a customer-oriented service desk EMEA North
  • Clarify and manage business requirements for global ServiceDesk offerings in cooperation with the responsible managers of DEKRA service divisions and DEKRA regions
  • Develop and lead the team of the Service Desk to carry out the support for DEKRA staff EMEA North
  • Identify, capture and provide monthly reporting on key service desk management metrics & KPI’s

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and 7 – 10 years of experience in IT Service
  • Several years of experience in managing a team of 20 or more (ServiceDesk) employees in an international Environment
  • Management or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides IT support in a fast-paced, professional Environment
  • Experience with designing and implementing support processes
  • Scrum & HDI & ITIL V3+ Certification preferred
  • Knowledge in the processes of (Vehicle) Inspection area will be a strong plus
  • Willingness to travel
  • Very good English and German language skills
