Service Development & Digitalization Engineer (m/f/d) nationwide

The position can be occupied in one of our branches. Please indicateyour preferred location.

Tasks

  • Your main tasks are developing digital solutions from idea to final product, from customer and market research to roll-out, but with the main focus on development
  • You transform our existing knowledge about customers´ needs and assets into digital solutions
  • You will perform own technical analysis, calculations and initial algorithm development
  • With your Expertise you run project with responsibility for budget, resource and time planning
  • As a project leader you stay in close contact with customers, in testing and validating hardware, as well as software in conceptual and pilots projects
  • You will support operations and customers when rolling out and running solutions

Qualifications

  • BSc / PhD / MSc degree as an engineer
  • Experience of programming for development of scripts for data management. This can be gained both via studies and work. Matlab and Python are examples where expertise level is highly recommended
  • Experience of data management and transforming field and customer needs to digital models, in either segments, not specifically mechanical engineering but also other segments
  • Experience from the field of industrial inspection is an advantage
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Driven, curious, creative and prestigeless person, comfortable with a working situation that is highly individual, but yet highly connected to the teams and organizations, communicative and good in creating contact with colleagues, customers and stakeholders
  • You will work together with stakeholders from IT and Innovation as well as sales and regional operations
