Tasks

You will lead a team of 30 employees and you will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the Crash Test Center department
You and your team will be responsible for realising business objectives and defining business development strategies to ensure long-term success
You will strengthen the cooperation within the DEKRA Automotive Test Center and with other DEKRA units
You support the sales department and ensure a successful start-up of the laboratory
Last but not least, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of health and safety in the department as well as for the regular training of employees in line with the requirements of the management and of the authorities

Qualifications

Technical studies specialising in electrical engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronics with very good business knowledge
Professional experience / team leadership in a comparable position desirable
Strong communication skills and assertiveness as well as strong social skills, empathy and team orientation
In-depth understanding of ensuring compliance with the company's guidelines / standards and operational guidelines
Business fluent in written and spoken English
