Master Data Project Manager (m/f) in Stuttgart.


  • Lead projects to introduce and implement Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives within a given SAP ERP framework and a given project-management setting
  • Understand Business scenarios and convert them to MDM Business logic
  • Support the development and implementation of a company-wide master data strategy within a given SAP ERP framework
  • Guide the creation and improvement of processes, architecture, data definitions, standards and KPIs to consistently address recurring master data issues such as quality and consistency with suitable tools and templates.
  • Advise SAP users and master data managers in the service divisions and provide guidelines to the business to help optimize MDM
  • Coordinate creation of training documents and organize company-wide training related to master data initiatives. Collaborate with IT Functional and Technical team members to implement master data systems and applications.
  • Implement initiatives to further enhance/enrich completeness and value of Master Data.
  • Scope the projects and help set and meet deadlines.


  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related field of study, and five (5) years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Sound knowledge of SAP master data management (ideally accounts receivables, material) and very good understanding of process and data modeling
  • Experience in the successful management of master data projects (ideally SAP MDM, MDG or other leading technologies and solutions with an agile methodology)
  • Expertise in data modeling, data governance and data quality
  • Experience in setting up KPI systems including definition of meaningful KPIs
  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills with high IT affinity
  • Customer-oriented and independent work within our project teams
  • Good communication skills and appropriate interaction and cooperation with stakeholders at all levels
  • Negotiating skills and persuasiveness
  • Goal- and solution-oriented work without losing sight of the overall situation
  • Down-to-earth, hands-on and can-do mentality
  • Very good English language skills
