Financial Business Analyst (m/f/d) Region North & Central Europe (NCE)

The Region North & Central Europe includes the following countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, and United Kingdom | In this position, you directly report to the NCE CFO located in Germany.

Tasks

With your expertise, you support the Regional CFO in the overall controlling and steering of financials across the Region NCE
In your role, you act as a coordinator between local management, the Region, and the Group's central finance department at the Headquarters, serving as a business partner to other teams to support process improvements and contribute to organizational efficiency initiatives
Your responsibility includes being an integrated team player, collaborating with the NCE countries’ Finance & Accounting functions to ensure a secure cash situation for the Region and following up on cost-saving measures
Additionally, you drive further data-based analysis by supporting dashboard creation, KPI systems, and the use of RPA and Power Automate to optimize end-to-end processes
You play a key role in supporting the Regional Budget & Forecasting process and leading the InterCompany & Cost allocation process according to Group policy
With your analytical skills, you analyze market and company data to prepare decisions for management
You carry out assessments of M&A transactions and their integration into the organization
Your tasks include preparing reports and investment plans and providing support in current projects
You coordinate financial operations, including month-end and year-end closing, and work closely with the shared services teams
Last but not least, you handle data queries from the Headquarters

Qualifications

Degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field with a specialization in finance or accounting
First professional financial experience based on practical experience in a corporate and international environment, ideally also in the field of auditing
Solid understanding of financial standards, reporting and strong skills in financial analysis to help identify process improvements and support business decisions
Proactive, structured, analytical, and independent way of working paired with a digital and business-driven mindset
Solution-oriented with a strong ability to learn and adapt within a hybrid and international work setup
Experienced with MS Office, knowledge of PowerBI/Automate or RPA is an advantage
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with various teams
Collaborative hands-on approach and willingness to engage across teams to support company objectives
Business fluent in English, German or any other language is a plus
Willingness to occasionally travel if required
