Master Data Steward – Accounts in SAP (m/w/d)

As a Master Data Steward, you will play a key role in DEKRA’s data strategy by creating, maintaining, and governing master data standards.

Tasks

Central contact for Account master data domain owner with regards to operational data management in SAP R3 and S4HANA
Central contact for data leads and maintainers in all regions/hubs for account master data issues in SAP not solvable locally
Project support from a master data management point of view (e.g. creation of project profiles, requirements analyses, technical (detailed) concepts, etc.)
Coordination of standardization of data models (incl. mapping, lineage etc.)
Harmonization of functional and technical views on metadata for a joint understanding
Work with the business and Master Data Quality Manager to align the data cleansing and preparation activities according to the Migration Roadmap
Dedication and routing of bigger master data management activities that are at best to drive in specific contexts (e.g. SAP, SFDC, GIL, domains, regions, business divisions) towards the master data manager
Setup and maintenance of central master data management training capabilities (material, methods, tools etc.)

Qualifications

Degree in business administration, business informatics, engineering, or comparable studies with proven professional experience
Operational experience with an enterprise Data Management tool (eg. Informatica), SAP S4HANA and/or Salesforce
Experience in a Data Migration orientated role and load plan management as well as knowledge of industry leading data migration management practices & tools
Excellent problem solving, analytical, creative, and communication skills
Experience with project environments and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent follow-through
Very good English language skills, German is an advantage
