Global Head of HR Operations (m/w/d) Germany / Spain

Locations: Germany (preferably Stuttgart), Spain (preferably Barcelona,Madrid or Malaga)


  • Own the employee experience in regards to HR Operations at all stages of the employee life cycle
  • Defining and shaping the global standard of DEKRA HR Operations and processes and provide guidance to the global HR Operations team
  • Development & implementation of a set of global, regional and local standardized processes in coordination with the relevant contact persons
  • Ensure adequate service level for HR Operations customers across regions
  • Implementing and maintaining HR best practices and strategies
  • Generate actionable insights, drive process standardization, optimization and automatization in HR Operations processes
  • Provide expert consultancy on local, regional and global HR Operations matters for the management and business
  • Identification and recommendations for the implementation of new services and processes for HR Operations
  • Ensure the proper functionality of HR systems in collaboration with HR IT
  • Provide active Business Partnering in building strong relationships with our business and HR IT teams
  • Direct reporting line to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably with HR focus
  • Strong experience of managing a HR Operations /Shared Services or sizeable HR Administrative function within a global organization and matrix Organization
  • Experience in growing and leading a team with a solid background in driving process development and change initiatives
  • HR Generalist with solid knowledge of theory and best practice of HR policies, processes and practices
  • Expertise in HR Operations & Service design as well as in HR transformation projects
  • Good knowledge of Employee Service Management technology and SAP SuccessFactors
  • Strong leadership and motivational people management skills
  • Strategic forward-thinking conceptual skills as well as strong communication skills
  • Highly structured, systematic and organized, focused and details oriented
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with people at all hierarchical levels
  • Business-fluent in English, German or any other second language is a plus
